5. Click Configure. The following dialog box appears.

6. Set the baud rate to 4800. The alarm unit should have this same baud rate.
7. Enter 1 or 2 in the COM Port field. This is the physical port on the recorder that connects to the alarm unit.
8. Set the default interval. This is the time interval between two events and sets the same time interval for all of the alarm
ports. The default is 60 seconds.
9. Set the armed alarms. If the recorder is connected to two alarms units, you should have a range of 0-127 because each
alarm has 64 ports. The default range is 0-63.
10. Add intervals for specific alarms. Figure 94 shows five different intervals for five different alarms.
11. Click OK.
12. Click Test.
13. Close the I/O Handler Configuration application.
4. Click Open. The following dialog box appears.
